About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to serve as a Risk Oversight Committee Member (Komite Pemantau Risiko) for our multifinance company. This senior part-time position is responsible for assisting the Independent Commissioner in ensuring that the company has effective risk management strategies, governance processes, and internal controls in place.

The committee plays a crucial role in monitoring the company’s risk profile, ensuring alignment with OJK regulations, and safeguarding stakeholders’ interests through robust oversight of credit, operational, market, liquidity, legal, and compliance risks.

Key Outcomes:

  • Provide independent oversight of the company’s risk management framework and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with OJK regulations, internal policies, and risk appetite.
  • Strengthen the Board of Commissioners’ ability to anticipate and manage key risks affecting the company.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of Management, Accounting, Finance, or a similar course.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; OR a minimum of 2 years of working experience in document management, finance, or a related operational field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a thorough, meticulous approach to work.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Suite.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Proven ownership mentality and the initiative to solve problems independently.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in risk management, auditing, banking, or multifinance.
  • Prior experience in senior risk, compliance, or governance roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of OJK regulations and enterprise risk management best practices.
  • Demonstrated independence, objectivity, and integrity in professional judgment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with ability to advise at Board level.
  • Based in Jakarta; availability for part-time committee work.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate the adequacy of the company’s risk management policies, frameworks, and procedures.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of risk identification, measurement, monitoring, and control across all business units.
  • Provide oversight on credit risk, operational risk, market/liquidity risk, and compliance risk exposures.
  • Assess alignment of business strategies with the company’s risk appetite and capital adequacy.
  • Review reports from the Risk Management Division, Compliance Unit, and Internal Audit relating to risk exposures and mitigation.
  • Provide recommendations to the Board of Commissioners to strengthen risk governance and mitigate emerging risks.
  • Participate in committee meetings and submit periodic reports to the Board of Commissioners.
