QA Team Lead

WINN.AI is seeking a skilled and experienced QA Team Lead to drive our quality assurance efforts while remaining actively involved in testing. In this role, you will guide the QA discipline while dedicating the majority of your time to hands-on testing, ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality.
What you will do:
- Lead QA activities across both manual and automation testing, ensuring full coverage and high-quality releases.
- Define and improve QA processes, methodologies, and best practices to strengthen product quality and release confidence.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to align QA strategy with business and technical goals.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts, including manual, exploratory, and automated testing.
- Oversee automation strategies and frameworks to enhance efficiency and regression coverage.
- Track and report QA metrics (test coverage, defect trends, release readiness) to leadership.
- Promote a culture of quality, driving continuous improvement and proactive issue detection.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of experience in software QA, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
- Hands-on expertise in web testing (UI, functionality, performance, etc.) and API testing (REST, GraphQL).
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills in English (high-level professional proficiency; native fluency not required).
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple testing streams, and meet deadlines.
