Job Description

Reports to: CEO

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of HR (People) to join our leadership team and drive our people strategy across our rapidly scaling global portfolio of companies. As Head of People, you will play a pivotal role in building world-class talent systems, shaping culture, and enabling our teams to deliver exceptional results as we grow rapidly over the next several years.

You will be a trusted advisor to leadership and an advocate for employees, ensuring that HR practices are not only scalable and compliant, but also aligned with our mission, values, and long-term business objectives. This is an early-stage, hands-on role that combines strategic oversight with day-to-day execution.

The Head of People will standardize and scale HR practices, develop compensation and employee relations strategies, establish foundational policies, and ensure a consistent, high-performance, and compliant work environment across the organization. You will also be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and managing vendors and tools that support HR and People-related functions.

As the company and portfolio grow, this role will evolve to build and lead a broader HR team.

Key Responsibilities

· People Strategy & Leadership: Partner with the CEO and executive teams of portfolio companies to design and implement a people strategy that supports rapid growth, organizational effectiveness, and long-term business objectives.

· Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Oversee recruitment strategies, workforce planning, and succession planning to ensure the company attracts, hires, and retains top global talent.

· Onboarding & Employee Experience: Build scalable onboarding processes and employee engagement initiatives that foster belonging, development, and long-term retention.

· Culture & Values: Champion and continuously reinforce company culture, mission, and values across all portfolio companies.

· Performance Management: Design and implement performance review frameworks, feedback systems, and development programs to ensure high performance and accountability.

· Compensation & Benefits: Develop competitive compensation structures, incentive plans, and benefits programs that balance equity, market competitiveness, and financial sustainability.

· Learning & Development: Establish leadership development, training, and professional growth opportunities that strengthen talent pipelines.

· Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Lead initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion across the organization, ensuring equitable opportunities and an inclusive work environment.

· Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with global labor laws, employment regulations, payroll, and HR best practices across multiple jurisdictions.

· HR Systems & Operations: Select, implement, and manage HR technology platforms to improve efficiency, reporting, and employee experience.

· Employee Relations: Provide guidance, mediation, and support for conflict resolution, policy enforcement, and sensitive employee matters.

· Vendor & Partner Management: Evaluate and oversee third-party HR vendors and partners (payroll, benefits, recruitment, legal, etc.).

Requirements and Experience

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Organizational Development; Master’s degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) strongly preferred.

· 7+ years of progressive HR/People leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

· Proven track record of scaling HR functions in fast-growing, global, multi-entity organizations.

· Experience in both strategic planning and hands-on execution of HR processes.

· Global HR Knowledge: Strong understanding of international labor laws, compliance requirements, and cross-cultural workforce management.

· Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively with C-level executives and build trust across all levels of the organization.

· Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to use data and insights to drive people decisions, measure outcomes, and continuously improve HR programs.

· Change Management: Demonstrated success in leading organizational change, culture development, and workforce transformation.

· Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with modern HRIS systems, people analytics tools, and digital-first HR solutions.

· Values-Driven: Deep commitment to fostering inclusion, collaboration, and employee well-being.
