What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Workato Integration Engineer with strong system analysis capabilities to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable integrations across our SaaS ecosystem. This role combines hands-on development with the ability to translate business requirements into structured, reliable, and well-documented integration solutions. The ideal candidate can operate independently; own integrations end to end, and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced SaaS environment. Proven experience working in a SaaS organization is required.

How will you make an impact?

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Workato recipes, custom connectors, and API-based workflows

• Lead requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into detailed technical specifications

• Perform impact analysis across systems and produce clear technical design documentation and data flow diagrams

• Integrate core systems including Salesforce, Jira, Sisense, NetSuite, Snowflake, SQL Server, AWS services, and external REST APIs

• Build event-driven automations, webhook-based triggers, and bulk data synchronization processes

• Orchestrate data flows between operational systems and the data warehouse to ensure data consistency and integrity

• Implement secure authentication mechanisms, manage credentials, and enforce security best practices

• Establish monitoring, logging, error handling, and retry mechanisms for production-grade reliability

• Optimize integrations for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency

• Collaborate with security, data engineering, finance, and application teams to ensure compliance and architectural alignment

What is needed to succeed?

• 3+ years of hands-on integration development experience

• Strong expertise with Workato including complex recipes and custom API integrations

• Strong system analysis skills including requirement gathering, field mapping, dependency analysis, and risk assessment

• Proven experience in a SaaS organization

• Experience integrating Salesforce, Jira, NetSuite, Snowflake, SQL Server, AWS services, and additional REST-based systems

• Strong REST API design, troubleshooting, and debugging skills

• Solid understanding of authentication methods including OAuth, API tokens

• Experience with JSON, webhooks, event-driven architectures, bulk data processing, and data transformation

• Ability to design scalable, maintainable, secure, and well-governed integration architectures
