About the Role
Checkmarx is looking for a dynamic and strategic Customer Success Manager (SCSM) to drive customer outcomes and strengthen long-term partnerships across our enterprise accounts. As a Strategic CSM, you’ll be the trusted advisor guiding customers to achieve maximum value from Checkmarx CxOne, our cutting-edge application security platform. You’ll combine technical depth, strategic business acumen, and relationship excellence to ensure every customer succeeds with Checkmarx, turning adoption into advocacy.
What You’ll Do
Customer Success Leadership
- Own the post-sale relationship for strategic enterprise customers—acting as their trusted advisor and advocate within Checkmarx.
- Guide customers through onboarding, adoption, and value realization, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Design and execute Mutual Success Plans (MSPs) with measurable milestones tied to customer outcomes.
- Monitor customer health, proactively identify risks, and orchestrate cross-functional alignment to ensure retention and expansion.
- Quantify and communicate business impact and ROI through periodic Executive Business Reviews (EBRs).
Technical Enablement & Advisory
- Provide expert guidance on CxOne deployment, optimization, and integration across CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Help customers operationalize DevSecOps and SSDLC practices through best practices, automation, and adoption strategies.
- Stay ahead of emerging cloud security and AppSec trends, translating insights into actionable customer strategies.
- ·Conduct enablement sessions on new features, best practices, and advanced use cases to maximize platform value.
Value Delivery & Insights
- Use product analytics and telemetry data to identify usage trends, success blockers, and growth opportunities.
- Partner with Product Management to share customer feedback and shape the Checkmarx roadmap.
- Deliver actionable insights and dashboards that demonstrate technical and business value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Support, Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure customer success across the lifecycle.
- Drive expansion opportunities through demonstrated outcomes, success stories, and quantified value.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, newsletters, and customer communications on “What’s New” in CxOne.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity.
- 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or similar client-facing roles in the software or cybersecurity industry.
- Proven success in managing enterprise-level relationships, navigating complex technical ecosystems, and driving customer value.
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) — compute, networking, and security services.
- Experience with application security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container security) and DevSecOps practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and API-based integrations.
- Working knowledge of cloud-native security controls (IAM, KMS, VPC, etc.) and compliance frameworks (OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Basic scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation or reporting.
- Comfort with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for insights and storytelling.
