Role Summary:

Zest is hiring an Account Executive (full-cycle, inside sales) to help us drive new client development and acquisition through our next phase of growth. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Account Executive has overall responsibility for cultivating and managing relationships with prospective clients up to and including signing up for a new, innovative one-of-a-kind solution.

Role Responsibilities:

The Account Executive will:

  • Manage the full sales cycle for a new SaaS enterprise solution
  • Build and manage relationships with C-level prospects and executive partner stakeholders. Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, lending objectives, and success metrics
  • Foster relationships and build a creative, personalized approach to lead-generation and nurturing through an omni-channel approach
  • Generate appointments through proactive outbound prospecting
  • Shepherd developed opportunities through the sales process to a successful close
  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Consistently achieve monthly quota for each step in the sales process
  • Manage qualification calls and fully qualify prospective clients, gaining a complete picture of prospect’s business volume, technology resources, and decision making process
  • Deepen relationships with qualified prospects, address all concerns (spoken and unspoken), lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and shepherd deals to successful close.
  • Engage client engagement and product experts as necessary
  • Work closely with Strategic Account Executives, other Account Executives, Client Engagement, Business Development Representatives, Marketing, and Strategic Alliances to uncover new leads

We are looking for:

  • 3+ years of dedicated inside sales (engaging prospects via email, telephone, and videoconferencing) experience
  • 2+ years of full cycle sales experience
  • 2+ years of b2b sales experience
  • 1+ years of c-suite focused selling
  • 1+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas in a SaaS or enterprise solution environment
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment
  • Continual learner, seeking to deeply understand Zest, our industry, market, and prospects
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product teams, to deliver value and close deals
  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in an analytical field (finance, mathematics, economics, etc.)
  • Experience using Salesforce or another enterprise CRM, LinkedIn Navigator, and the Google Suite are preferred
  • Prior experience working with FinTech or SaaS company selling to financial institutions (including banks, credit unions, and specialty lenders) is preferred
  • Alignment with the company’s values and mission, with a focus on teamwork, innovation, and client success
  • Able and willing to commute to our Burbank, CA office twice weekly
  • Reliable high speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space

Compensation:

Salary up to $110,000, OTE up to $180,000, uncapped commissions
