As a Working Student in our Simulation team, you will help create 3D scenes, assets, and interactive demos that showcase the capabilities of Wandelbots NOVA. Together with simulation engineers and designers, you’ll bring ideas to life and support the development of digital environments used for testing, presentations, and partner projects.

This role is a great opportunity to apply your 3D and CAD skills in a real-world robotics environment and learn from an experienced team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Create and adapt 3D scenes and assets using Blender.

• Work with Rhino and Fusion 360 to prepare CAD models for simulation and demos.

• Help set up and maintain interactive demo environments within Wandelbots NOVA.

• Support designers and engineers to make assets technically sound and visually appealing.

• Take part in improving workflows, including simple file conversions or basic command-line tasks.

• (Optional) Explore OpenUSD and Omniverse-based workflows.

• First experience with Blender or similar 3D software.

• Basic knowledge of e.g., Rhino or Fusion 360, or interest in learning to work with CAD data.

• Comfortable using digital tools and willing to pick up some technical basics (e.g., python, command line).

• An eye for design and a structured way of working.

• Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study (e.g. Media Informatics, Digital Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, or similar).

• Motivated to learn and contribute in a collaborative team.

• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
