Information about the position

We are currently seeking to hire two Engineering Managers, each to lead a distinct team. One team is focused on developing Know Your Customer (KYC) flows, and the other is responsible for implementing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) logic for Vinted Pay. The team consists of Backend Engineers, Test Automation Engineer, Decision Scientist, Product Manager and Engineering Manager.

We are looking for a technical minded individual who has a product mindset as well as a strategic thinker.

In this position, you’ll

In practise it means:

  • Lead the team of 4-6 engineers and ensure the team’s direction, discovery and delivery
  • Build and maintain a team of people who trust each other, are not afraid of healthy conflict, are committed and accountable, and who care about results
  • Focus on the professional and personal growth of your team and yourself, including conducting performance and compensation reviews
  • Collaborate closely with other Engineering leads to bring continuous improvements and take our Engineering organisation to a new level
  • Ensure the team has a set of processes that enables them to be effective

About you

  • Proven experience leading a software engineering team and delivering results

  • Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English
  • Have a technical background and experience as an engineer would be a benefit

The salary range for this position is 6,258 - € 8,475 gross per month.
