Information about the position
As an Electronics Testing Specialist, you will ensure the quality, functionality, and readiness of electronic devices like smartphones, tablets, and consoles. This role involves hands-on testing, quality control, and software updates. The position reports directly to the Electronics Verification Service (EVS) Shift Manager.
In this position, you’ll
- Conduct Technical Testing: Perform functional tests on smartphones, tablets, and consoles using pre-established processes.
- Ensure Quality Control: Evaluate device condition, functionality, and performance, reporting results accurately.
- Perform Software Updates & Resets: Update devices and restore them to factory settings, ensuring compliance with data privacy guidelines.
- Collaborate on Process Improvements: Assist the team on improving process flows.
- Support Documentation: Assist with creating strategic documentation and process flows.
About you
- Hands-on experience testing, repairing or refurbishing electronic devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, or network equipment) or similar experience.
- Knowledge of basic electronic components and systems.
- Detail-oriented, with a quality-focused mindset.
- Proactive and flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Willing to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Advantages: Experience with process automation and scaling workflows.
