Information about the position
As the Manager of Safety Intelligence, Trust and Safety Operations, you will play a key role in protecting Vinted members from harmful activities by proactively identifying and sanctioning malicious accounts at scale.
You will be responsible for leading the team in detecting early incidents or large-scale malicious activities, assessing root causes, identifying and sanctioning malicious accounts, and sharing insights with stakeholders to ensure long-term abuse mitigation. Together with your team, you will drive these efforts to effectively protect Vinted members.
This role is based in Vilnius, and you will report to the Director of Complex Moderation, Trust and Safety Operations. You will work closely with the Trust Product teams, Data Science and Analytics, Security, Legal, Trust and Safety Operations, Member Support and other departments.
In this position, you’ll
- Lead a high-performing Trust & Safety team by setting direction, KPIs, and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement.
- Build up actionable and measurable roadmaps aligned with organisational strategy, ensuring business-useful outcomes.
- Create and implement incident response and crisis management plans tailored to Trust & Safety needs.
- Assist with team development through mentorship, upskilling, and structured feedback processes, fostering growth, inclusion, and wellbeing.
- Communicate with diverse audiences by presenting complex ideas clearly through high-quality deliverables such as reports, decks, and updates.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives, sharing best practices across the organisation and engaging with external Trust & Safety communities.
- Monitor adherence to quality standards, established processes, and KPIs to ensure accountability and efficiency.
- Oversee prioritisation of incoming incidents and urgent inquiries, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Keep track of team performance through regular reviews, impact goal tracking, and capability alignment with evolving demands.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to create scalable solutions that reflect Trust & Safety dynamics and broader organisational goals.
About you
- At least 2 years of experience in the Trust & Safety area or relevant field (e.g.: scam, phishing, account take-over, financial crimes, AML, etc.)
- Strong leadership abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across various levels
- Proficient in planning skills and strategic thinking
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience collaborating with product, data teams
- Crisis and incident management expertise
- Advantage: proficiency in SQL and data analysis, performing complex data manipulation, and queries

The salary range for this position is € 3,375 - € 4,558 gross per month.
