What is ViewFi?

ViewFi was started with a technology challenge: Can a musculoskeletal (MSK) physical exam, typically performed in person, effectively be completed virtually? ViewFi's patient-focused technology platform combines innovative virtual examination capabilities with an exceptional clinical team to improve access to MSK care, patient experience, outcomes, and cost of care.

Our goal is to change how MSK care is delivered by ensuring patients receive the right care plan from the beginning and by equipping our clinical and operational teams with the technology, workflows, education, and resources necessary to deliver exceptional care at scale.

The Opportunity

ViewFi is growing rapidly and seeking an Instructional Designer & Training Specialist to develop and maintain ViewFi's learning infrastructure while serving as an onboarding specialist and key liaison between the clinical organization and Product/Technology.

This role will own the development and delivery of standardized onboarding, competency training, platform education, workflow updates, continuing staff education, and performance remediation programs across ViewFi's Medical, Rehabilitation, and Patient Experience teams.

The ideal candidate combines expertise in instructional design and adult learning with strong technical aptitude, operational curiosity, and the ability to translate complex clinical, operational, and technical information into clear, practical education. This individual will work closely with clinical and operational leadership, subject matter experts, and ViewFi's Product and Technology teams to ensure employees are prepared not only to perform their roles successfully, but also to adapt as ViewFi's platform, programs, and care model continue to evolve.

Your Mission

Clinical Education & Workforce Development

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve standardized onboarding programs and role-specific learning pathways across ViewFi's Medical, Rehabilitation, and Patient Experience teams.
  • Develop structured onboarding plans that support new team members from initial orientation through independent role readiness.
  • Partner with clinical leaders and subject matter experts to establish ongoing staff competencies, competency standards, and competency validation processes.
  • Create and maintain engaging learning modules, training materials, presentations, job aids, reference guides, and other educational resources.
  • Develop education to support new clinical programs, service lines, operational processes, and client-specific workflows.
  • Provide continuing education and refresher training as workflows, policies, programs, and expectations evolve.
  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to identify individual and team performance gaps and develop targeted education, coaching, retraining, and remediation programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of onboarding and educational programs and use feedback, performance trends, and competency results to continuously improve training.

Platform & Workflow Education

  • Develop and maintain in-depth expertise in ViewFi's clinical platform, systems, patient journey, and operational workflows.
  • Partner closely with the CTO and Product/Development teams to maintain current knowledge of platform functionality, development priorities, and upcoming releases.
  • Develop and deliver education associated with platform releases, new functionality, workflow changes, system enhancements, and process updates.
  • Translate technical changes into clear, practical, role-specific guidance so team members understand both what is changing and how it affects their work.
  • Support implementation and adoption of new technology and workflows through training, demonstrations, office hours, job aids, and other educational strategies.
  • Maintain ViewFi's internal FAQ and "How Do I?" knowledge base as a centralized, current source of truth for common platform, workflow, and operational questions.
  • Establish processes to routinely review and update educational materials so training remains aligned with current platform functionality, policies, and workflows.

Clinical-Product Liaison

  • Serve as a primary liaison between ViewFi's frontline clinical teams, operational leadership, and Product/Development.
  • Develop strong relationships with Medical, Rehabilitation, and Patient Experience team members to understand how ViewFi's technology and workflows function in day-to-day practice.
  • Gather, organize, and synthesize frontline feedback, recurring questions, workflow pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Help distinguish issues that can be addressed through education and adoption from those that may represent workflow, process, or product-design opportunities.
  • Partner with clinical leaders and Product/Development to propose practical solutions that improve usability, efficiency, quality, and the team member experience.
  • Participate in testing and implementation of new platform functionality and workflows, providing a clinical and operational perspective before broader deployment.
  • Develop the education and change-management resources necessary to support successful implementation and adoption.
  • Establish feedback loops following implementation to determine whether product and workflow changes successfully addressed the identified need and whether additional education or refinement is required.

About You

  • Experienced in instructional design, training, learning and development, clinical education, healthcare education, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and actionable education.
  • Comfortable facilitating both live and asynchronous learning for diverse professional audiences.
  • Technically curious and comfortable developing deep expertise in software platforms, workflows, and new technology.

  • Skilled at listening to frontline users, identifying patterns, and translating feedback into actionable educational or operational recommendations.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple onboarding programs, training initiatives, platform updates, and educational priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly growing environment where systems, workflows, and programs continue to evolve.
  • Collaborative, proactive, resourceful, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Healthcare, clinical operations, health technology, or digital health experience strongly preferred.
