Events & Marketing Associate

Position Overview:
Our Marketing team builds meaningful connections with school leaders through thought leadership, digital programs, and a robust event strategy. We’re looking for an Events & Marketing Associate who’s passionate about education, detail-oriented, and energized by the idea of supporting events and marketing programs that make a real impact.The Events & Marketing Associate will play a key role in bringing our national and regional marketing calendar to life—from major conferences like NAIS and EMA to smaller association meetings, regional summits, and virtual sessions.
During the off-season, this role will shift to supporting the marketing team with operational and administrative projects: campaign setup, data management, content updates, and reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and eager to grow in a dynamic education technology environment.
Position Description:
Duties & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Execution (60%)
Support the planning, logistics, and execution of national, regional, and virtual events across the independent and private school market.
Coordinate pre-event registration, booth shipping, travel itineraries, and vendor communications.
Manage show materials and assets—including banners, collateral, and branded giveaways—to ensure strong on-site brand presence.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align event goals, outreach lists, and follow-up plans that drive qualified leads.
May assist with onsite setup and attendee engagement activities at conferences such as NAIS, EMA, NBOA, SAIS, and NCEA.
Maintain event data and metrics in Monday.com, HubSpot, and Salesforce to track performance, ROI, and lead outcomes.
Support internal event enablement, including briefing decks, staff communications, and booth team prep.
Marketing Operations & Administrative Support (40%)
Assist with day-to-day marketing operations, including campaign setup, data entry, and asset organization.
Maintain and update contact lists, campaign dashboards, and event reports in HubSpot and Salesforce.
Support the creation and updating of marketing collateral, event webpages, and PowerPoint decks.
Process purchase orders, manage invoices, and track marketing department expenses.
Help coordinate internal scheduling, meeting logistics, and cross-team communications.
Support digital and email campaign tasks, such as QA review, list pulls, and reporting during event downtime.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, or administrative coordination.
Strong organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with marketing and CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce) preferred.
Familiarity with the independent school or education sector a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for conferences and events.
