About the Role

HR Director will play a key role to lead and execute people strategies across our operations in Saudi Arabia as well as act as General Manager of the Regional HQ for this location. As the local HR lead, you will serve as the main point of contact for all HR-related matters, supporting execution of people initiatives while ensuring compliance with local labour laws and practices. This role requires a deep understanding of the local employment landscape, combined with the ability to translate global HR strategy into impactful, country-specific execution

What You’ll Do :

Local labour legislation advisor

  • Advise people managers and Business Aligned HRBPs on local labour laws, regulations and internal policies as applicable to their assigned country
  • Custodian of local compliance requirements
  • Lead the implementation of HR policies and procedures at the country level
  • Manage complex employee relations cases and investigations with a fair and consistent approach

First point of contact for People Managers

  • Act as support to People Managers for recurring employee life-cycle activities (including, but not limited to annual compensation reviews (ACR), performance ratings, data, hiring
  • Support with relocation activities as and when applicable
  • Implement global People & Culture programs and initiatives for local teams
  • Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement and workplace satisfaction
  • Monitor and report on HR KPIs, trends, and risks as and when applicable
  • Accountable for problem-solving key challenges impacting the country/cluster

New legal entity support (as applicable)

  • Support the set up of a new legal entity and all required steps to ensure legal compliance

Site Operations Management

  • Act as the senior-most representative of the legal entity.
  • Lead day-to-day operations at the site, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental standards across the site.
  • Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders at the site.
  • Build strong relationships with local government, community leaders, and business partners.
  • Identify operational, safety, and compliance risks specific to the site

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred)
  • 8-12 years of progressive HR experience
  • Solid knowledge of Saudi Arabia labour laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in execution
  • Experience in a matrixed or multinational organization is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Need to have Saudi residency permit (Iqama) or ability to get one
