THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Reconciliation and Payment Operations, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of Unit’s financial operations. We’re seeking a detail-oriented, driven individual eager to accelerate their career in fintech. You’ll help keep our complex system running smoothly by reconciling transactions, resolving exceptions, and improving operational processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure across technology, operations, and partner integrations in a high-growth startup environment. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn how financial infrastructure is built and operated at scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform detailed reconciliations between Unit’s systems and our bank partners.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly.

• Collaborate with cross-functional and partner teams to improve workflows and resolve recon-related issues.

• Manage exception processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Contribute to special projects that drive operational innovation and scalability.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• 2+ years of professional experience, preferably in an operational role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Resilient, proactive, and collaborative with a desire to work in a fast-growing, unstructured environment where you have the ability to have a massive impact.

• Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to evolving challenges.

• Familiarity with payment rails, reconciliation systems, or transaction processing

• Experience in technology-driven financial operations or banking.

Compensation Range: $75K - $90K
