Compensation and Benefits Lead

Tulip Interfaces, Inc, is looking for a Compensation and Benefits Lead to join our dynamic and collaborative People and Talent team. This role will report directly to the Head of People and Talent, playing a critical role in shaping and scaling a best-in-class total rewards strategy that aligns with Tulip’s mission, growth, and values.

This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who thrives on building programs from the ground up, is energized by complexity, and is passionate about designing equitable and competitive compensation and benefits experiences that drive employee engagement and business success.

What Skills Do You Need?

  • 5–7+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 3 years focused on comp strategy and execution in a tech or high-growth environment
  • Proven ability to design and manage compensation programs, including job architecture, leveling, job evaluation methodologies, market pricing, incentive plan design, and merit/promo cycles
  • Hands-on experience administering global benefits programs (U.S. required; international a plus)
  • Strong understanding of compliance, leave policies, and employment regulations
  • Experience partnering with Finance and Legal to align programs with budget, compliance, and business priorities
  • Data fluency with the ability to create and analyze reports that inform decision-making and drive outcomes
  • Experience managing compensation tools (e.g., Radford, Pave)
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading through change with confidence
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly, while having the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of compensation programs—base pay, variable pay, equity, and align with Tulip’s compensation phylosophi.
  • Run the annual compensation planning cycle and conduct regular market research to ensure our programs remain competitive and aligned with industry trends, particularly within the SaaS sector.
  • Analyze compensation and benefits data, identify trends, and prepare reports for leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Oversee benefits strategy and manage the day-to-day administration of all benefits programs, including vendor management, enrollment, claims resolution , driving annual renewals, and ensuring a competitive, inclusive package.
  • Partner with Finance to align on headcount planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Support global expansion efforts by adapting compensation and benefits frameworks to new geographies
  • Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, ERISA, ACA). Stay up-to-date on changes in legislation.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance on policy development and audits
  • Support a culture of transparency and equity in compensation through thoughtful communication and manager enablement
  • Develop and deliver clear and effective communications to employees regarding compensation and benefits programs, policies, and changes.
