About the Role

We are looking for an Implementation Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and excels at driving structured execution across their book of business. In this role, you’ll own multiple customer implementations and reconfigurations, partnering with both new and existing customers to drive rapid time-to-value and measurable ROI through prescriptive guidance and clear project plans.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to design, configure, and optimize scalable procurement workflows. You’ll communicate effectively across all levels and stakeholders within the organization, and ensure customers see real business impact through thoughtful execution and the enablement of the Tropic platform as a whole.

What You’ll Do

Completely own the end-to-end implementation experience for new Tropic customers, from kickoff through go-live and handoff, including project planning, execution, enablement, and risk management
Lead discovery, pain point analysis, and process-mapping sessions to understand the customer’s approvals and purchasing workflows, and translate them into scalable configurations in Tropic
Configure and optimize their platform with Tropic workflows, intake forms, approval logic, integrations, and policies to support flexible, efficient purchasing across all categories of spend
Drive rapid time-to-value by guiding customers through change management, ensuring confident adoption of new processes, and immediate access to valuable insights through Tropic’s data offering
Create content and enable customers through live trainings, demos, and clear documentation to support adoption and ongoing usage
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers to drive resolution to keep implementations on track
Partner with your team and Account Management to identify recurring challenges, develop scalable solutions, and document learnings to improve consistency and efficiency in implementation processes
Raise the customer voice to Product to make reasonable enhancements, identify product gaps, communicate customer needs, and have your hand in the air to help with solutions

What You’ve Done

2-4 years of experience in SaaS implementation, solutions consulting, business transformation, or a similar customer-facing role in a B2B SaaS company
Strong consultative and advisory skills - you can be persuasive, backed by facts, and put forth digestible and prescriptive recommendations
Have successfully deployed and launched software solutions into organizations where success is based on time-to-value adoption, and/or revenue retention
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple implementations and fearlessly hold stakeholders accountable
Comfort working with an evolving product and adapting implementation practices as new features are released
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from end users to C-suite executives
It would be nice to have prior experience and understanding of Procurement as a business function

Compensation

Specific to pay transparency laws, the low end of the compensation range for this position is $90,000, inclusive of incentive pay, incentive stock options, and benefits. The final job level and compensation will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, geographic location, and other business considerations.
