As a Senior IT Operations Engineer at Tricentis, you will be reporting directly to the global IT Manager. You will identify, plan, and execute solutions to problems within our infrastructure and cloud environments. Additionally, you will work closely with other engineers on the team to provide leadership and mentorship associated with their activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and cloud applications through the administration, proactive monitoring, and timely management of incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into secure infrastructure solutions that support our organizational goals.
• Participate in projects and initiatives that support infrastructure lifecycle management, integration, optimization, and deployment of new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, industry standards, and security requirements related to infrastructure and cloud.

Experience:

• One EXPERT LEVEL experience in either cloud administration or Identity and access management.
  • [Cloud] Working knowledge of resource provisioning, configuration, deployment, automation, and incident response within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP. [terraform, github]
  • [IAM] Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM), protocols such as SSO, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell or Python. Understanding of Active Directory and Azure IAM environments. Knowledge of security practices to protect sensitive data and systems. Ability to develop automated solutions to streamline the IAM process.

• Demonstrated ability to foster innovation and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
• History of training and mentoring junior-level engineers in a global setting.
• Track record of implementing and maintaining infrastructure following the ITIL framework.
• Hands-on level experience with two or more of the following technology domains: Business productivity tools, DNS, MDM/MAM, Network, VDI, Systems & Virtualization, Storage, Backups, and Security.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a minimum of 5 years equivalent experience in IT operations or infrastructure engineering, with relevant industry certifications.
