Description
THE ROLE
Swimm is becoming an agentic modernization services company. We're going after the hardest problem in enterprise engineering: the millions of lines of legacy code that nobody understands but everybody depends on. Our bet is that static analysis plus GenAI plus senior engineers who actually know legacy systems beats any of those alone.
We need a growth marketer to build the function that takes this to market. This is both a strategic and hands-on role: you'll shape GTM and positioning, build the pipeline that feeds sales, and drive execution end to end.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Demand generation and lead generation end to end: content, campaigns, pipeline metrics, conversion.
- Our content engine and website: thought leadership, podcast, case studies, LinkedIn presence, SEO, and whatever new formats are worth experimenting with.
- Marketing automation and lead nurturing: the email sequences, workflows, and systems that turn interest into qualified pipeline.
- Sales enablement: the messaging, decks, one-pagers, and feedback loop that help sales close.
- GTM for new service launches: translating technical capabilities into messaging that resonates with CTOs and engineering leaders.
- The tools stack: evaluate, adopt, and get the most out of AI tools across every part of the marketing workflow - copy, GEO, research, personalization, analytics, outreach.

THE ENVIRONMENT
Swimm is a small team in a pivotal moment. We're transitioning from a developer-tools product to an agentic modernization services company, which means the marketing playbook is being written now - and you're writing it with us. You'll work directly with the CEO and report into leadership. There's no bureaucracy between your ideas and their execution.
Our buyers are CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Heads of Platform at mid-market enterprises. If you find that audience interesting to talk to and write for, you'll enjoy this role.
Requirements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You've been doing growth or B2B marketing for 6+ years and you've shipped things that moved numbers. You don't wait for a designer or an agency to produce content - you know how to get from idea to published in hours using the tools available today. You understand the difference between vanity metrics and pipeline, and you talk about both honestly.
- Crucially, you're genuinely AI-native. That means you've already built workflows around tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, HeyGen, Descript, or equivalents - not because someone told you to, but because you found them and integrated them yourself. You're curious about what's new and fast to adopt what's useful.
- You're comfortable in a room where strategy gets made. You have opinions about positioning, you push back when messaging feels wrong, and you can represent the market's perspective in a leadership conversation.
- Experience marketing to technical buyers or in the developer tools / enterprise software space.
ADVANTAGES
