Staffbase is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive to join our elite DACH Sales team. This is not a general sales role. You will be tasked with hunting and closing high-value, complex deals within the German Enterprise segment (5,000+ employees), positioning our mission-critical platform as a strategic necessity for HR, Communications, and IT leadership. If you thrive on navigating multi-stakeholder deals, challenging the status quo, and driving six-figure ARR, this is your next career move.
This role can be based from any of our offices in Germany such as Cologne, Berlin, Munich, Dresden, Leipzig and our HQ in Chemnitz or remote within Germany.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the DACH Enterprise Territory: Owning your patch, driving new logo acquisition and securing significant Annual Recurring Revenue at or above quota level
- Design & Execute Outbound Strategy: Architect and lead sophisticated outbound campaigns, collaborating strategically with SDRs, Partnerships, and Marketing to build pipeline and penetrate target accounts
- Expertly Manage Complex Sales Cycles: Navigate multi-stakeholder buying centers with confidence, engaging VPs and C-level executives (HR, Communications, CIOs) to align their digital transformation strategy with Staffbase’s value proposition
- Act as a Consultative Advisor: Become an expert in digital employee experience and internal communication trends, using data and insights to build compelling business cases and challenge prospect assumptions
- Drive Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Solution Engineers, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure seamless discovery, solution scoping, and successful contract closure
- Be a Brand Ambassador & Value Driver: Represent Staffbase with professionalism and enthusiasm, contributing your unique insights to shape our GTM strategy and our unique, high-energy company culture
What you need to be successful
- At least 3 years of proven Enterprise SaaS sales success: Track record of consistently producing and exceeding revenue targets within the Enterprise segment (>$100k ARR deals preferred), ideally selling sophisticated B2B software (HR Tech, MarTech, Collaboration, or Web/Cloud solutions)
- Expert Stakeholder Navigation: Demonstrated experience managing complex buying committees that span Communications, HR, IT, and C-Level-Leaders
- Strategic Account Management: Deep understanding and proven application of strategic selling methodologies (e.g., Value-Based Selling, SPICED) to control and accelerate sales cycles, leveraging superior communication and closing skills
- Scale-Up Aptitude: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment, demonstrating high emotional intelligence and adaptability
- Language Mastery: Fluent German (C2 level) and professional, business-proficient English skills are mandatory
