Join our newly formed Prague-based Integrations team, a laser-focused group with a strong engineering foundation, working closely with internal experts on Microsoft technologies.
This role is focused on building and evolving Microsoft-specific integrations that connect Staffbase with widely-used Microsoft platforms and APIs. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver scalable, reliable integrations that empower our users to streamline their digital workplace experience.
This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract with the view of becoming a long-term opportunity as we grow our Prague hub.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, build, and maintain backend-heavy integrations between Staffbase and Microsoft technologies (e.g. Microsoft Graph, Teams, SharePoint)
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to define and deliver technical solutions
- Contribute to unifying and scaling our integration architecture to support a long-term vision of a partner SDK and integration marketplace
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code primarily in Java/Kotlin (some exposure to Go is a plus)
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with teammates
- Work in an agile, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on ownership and quality
What you need to be successful
- 3+ years of experience, with a solid background in Java/Kotlin backend development
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset, especially in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Passion for building high-quality products and making a meaningful impact
- Proficiency with Microsoft development platforms and APIs (e.g., Azure, Graph API, Teams, SharePoint)
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and microservices architecture
- Comfortable working in a full-stack environment (React, JavaScript & TypeScript), even if your strength is backend
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting within a growing SaaS scale-up
- You are a self-starter who thrives both independently and as part of a team
- Appreciation for diversity and inclusivity in the workplace
- Excellent communication skills in English
