People Operations Specialist (Warsaw)

The People Team is looking for a new member to join the Head of People and the Talent Manager as a People Ops Specialist to support and care for all the Spacelifters!

What will you do

Creating a fabulous remote onboarding experience

• Preparing and sending job contracts

• Assuring everyone received their background checks

• Ordering laptops and welcome packs & organising shipment

• Adding new joiners to HRIS

• Assigning a buddy to each new joiner

• Scheduling the onboarding sessions

• Collecting feedback

• Constantly improving the existing process

Offering an exceptional employee experience to Spacelifters

• Answering all employees' queries relating to the employee handbook, benefits, employee invoices, PTO, etc.

• Managing L&D allowance limits and expenditures

• Managing HRIS & HR systems

• Coordinating externalised payroll

• Organising team-building activities (virtual and off-site)

• Organising training for Spacelifters with external providers

About You

• First experience in HR HR-related role, ideally at a start-up

• Being meticulous and well-organised

• “Can do” attitude

• Great communication skills in English

• Being a people-oriented, dynamic person with a great sense of service

• Having the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment of a tech start-up

• Knowing how to deal with cross-cultural situations

• Tools you’ll learn or know: hibob, justworks, clickup, google workspace, slack, remote.com
