About the Role
As a BC Developer, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our ExFlow products within a large, sophisticated codebase managed in Azure DevOps. You will build, refine, and improve features based on design specifications—while also contributing with your own technical insights and solution designs.
While AL development is core to the role, our technology landscape extends further. Depending on your skills and interests, you may also work with Power Platform, PowerShell, Java, SQL, C#/.NET, or other technologies used across our product ecosystem.
A deep grasp of ISV solution development is essential, as is the ability to analyze and align both standard D365 Business Central functionality and existing ExFlow products features with given design requirements. We provide comprehensive ExFlow-specific training to help you succeed.
In addition to development, you will serve as a trusted expert in advanced technical troubleshooting, acting as 2nd and 3rd line support for complex cases.
We also value modern engineering practices, including the ability and willingness to use AI tools in your daily work, or at minimum a strong curiosity and desire to work with AI-assisted development workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain ExFlow functionality and supporting components
Create, review, and refine technical designs based on functional specifications
Provide constructive feedback on solution designs
Analyze standard D365 BC functionality and align with product requirements
Act as 2nd- and 3rd-level technical support for complex issues
Participate in architectural discussions or the “Architect Board” when requested
Troubleshoot, debug, and drive continuous improvement across the codebase
Utilize AI tools to support coding, analysis, documentation, and troubleshooting (or show strong willingness to learn)
Required Skills & Experience
You are a product-minded developer who takes ownership and thrives in complex ERP environments like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You write clean, maintainable AL code, think critically about designs, and align standard functionality with product requirements.
You are analytical, proactive, and confident handling complex technical challenges. At the same time, you collaborate well, communicate clearly, and are curious about modern practices, including AI-assisted development. This also includes:
5+ years of development experience with D365 Business Central (BC) and NAV (AL/CAL) Please do not apply without this background.
Extensive experience with AL and C/AL
Experience with large-scale codebases and Azure DevOps (source control & pipelines)
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
Strong understanding of ERP systems, especially Microsoft D365 Business Central
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to quickly understand new processes and applications
Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
Interest in or experience with AI-assisted development, such as code generation, testing, or analysis
Bonus / Nice-to-Have
Experience building ISV solutions for D365 BC/NAV
Previous NAV development experience
Power Platform, PowerShell, Java, SQL, C#/.NET, or Azure experience
Integration development experience
Experience working with Nearshore/Offshore teams
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365
