About Us

At SentinelOne, we’re redefining cybersecurity by pushing the limits of what’s possible—leveraging AI-powered, data-driven innovation to stay ahead of tomorrow’s threats.

From building industry-leading products to cultivating an exceptional company culture, our core values guide everything we do. We’re looking for passionate individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to drive impact. If you’re excited about solving complex challenges in bold, innovative ways, we’d love to connect with you.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a disciplined and curious engineer who understands that a security platform is only as good as its first impression. In this role, you will be the primary builder of the "handshake" between our customers' diverse cloud ecosystems and our security platform. Your primary mission is the onboarding discovery phase: writing the logic to identify customer accounts, gather metadata, and ensure a rock-solid connection. You aren't just writing code; you are building the foundation of trust. If our connectivity checks fail or provide poor feedback, the customer's security journey stops before it even begins.

You enjoy the nuances of backend development, primarily in Java, and are also comfortable (or excited to become) switching gears to Go when the service demands it. You'll thrive here if you enjoy the challenge of making a complex, multi-step onboarding process feel seamless for thousands of customers. We are a product-oriented organization, so we look for engineers who ask "why" as much as "how"—ensuring every line of code directly improves customer satisfaction and system stability.

Finally, we seek someone who values "operational harmony." Because we collaborate daily with other teams, we need an engineer who understands that code isn't finished until it's performant and observable. You'll be responsible for ensuring your services run efficiently within Kubernetes and don't overwhelm our shared databases. While you don't need to be a Terraform expert on day one, a passion for building clean, maintainable, and "production-ready" systems is desirable.

What will you do?

  • Feature Development: Develop and maintain scalable microservices in Java and Go to automate the onboarding of massive cloud environments.
  • Cloud Integration: Work directly with cloud provider APIs to ensure secure data ingestion and resource discovery.
  • Code Quality: Write unit and integration tests that ensure the stability of our onboarding pipeline. No code goes to production without a high level of confidence.
  • Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and collaborate with Product Managers to refine requirements.

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
  • Backend Proficiency: Strong experience in Java; familiarity with or a willingness to master Go.
  • Cloud Literacy: A solid understanding of core cloud concepts (IAM, VPCs, Resource Groups) in at least one major provider (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, or Helm is a significant advantage.
