What are we looking for?

Account payable specialist is a key member of the international controllership team consisting of accounting, payroll, and accounts payable.The international controllership team is responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process for the international legal entities across Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia Pacific. The main responsibility of the team is to process and pay invoices in a timely and accurate manner. The account payable specialist is also involved in auditing expense claims in compliance with the SentinelOne expense policy.

What will you do?

• Perform invoice coding to the General Ledger in accordance with the accounting policies
• Apply invoices against POs
• Prepare Payment Batches and payments in the banking applications
• Follow up with invoice approvers on unapproved invoices
• Coordinate with suppliers in case of payment delays or discrepancies
• Audit expense claims against SentinelOne Policies
• Follow-up with employees that violate the policies
• Highlight potential process improvements

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience working in an international I2P environment;
• Experience with Coupa NetSuite & Expensify is a plus,
• High-level understanding of VAT and GST
• Excellent Excel skills;
• High numerical and analytical skills, ability to multitask;
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
• Pro-active attitude, hands-on mentality;
• Problem solving mindset & positive attitude;
• Experience to work within a SOX environment;
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly, analyze information and exercise good judgement;
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team member;
• Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English.
