What Are We Looking For?
As a Marketing Analyst you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting marketing data to drive actionable insights, improve campaign performance, and inform strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of digital marketing channels, and a passion for leveraging data to optimize marketing initiatives.
What Will You Do?
- Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns across all digital platforms (paid, organic, web, etc) providing insights and recommendations for optimization
- Own website analytics from traffic to full funnel analysis to support optimization of our website
- Build DataMarts in Google Big Query to support dashboards for the digital and website teams
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including conversion rates through the marketing and sales funnel to assess digital campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Identify trends and patterns in customer behavior and campaign performance to provide actionable insights that help drive marketing strategy and help optimize budgets
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights to marketing stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making
- Analyze customer data to create effective segmentation strategies that enhance targeting for campaigns and promotions.
- Maintain current Tableau reporting, as well as work to evolve and create new reporting with new data streams and tool evolution
- Innovative thinker with strong attention to detail who needs some guidance to frame business problems, develop and iterate on appropriate analysis in the face of ambiguity
What Skills and Knowledge Should You Bring?
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics (Marketing and B2B a plus)
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, Salesforce, Looker Studio, etc)
- Proficient in SQL (GBQ a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Google Analytic experience and GA4 data experience in Google Big Query
- Paid media platform experience (google ads, linkedin, stackadapt, twitter, youtube, facebook, etc)
- SEO experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner to all levels
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must have a true aptitude and passion for understanding and translating complex data in a way that is simple and easily comprehensible, especially for non-technical audiences
