About The Role

We are seeking a Head of Legal to establish and lead our legal function. Reporting to the VP of Finance and working closely with the management team, this role will cover all legal aspects of the business, including commercial contracting, privacy, AI, corporate governance, compliance, employment, and intellectual property. The Head of Legal will play a critical role in enabling revenue growth while ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

● Draft, review, negotiate, and manage agreements, including SaaS contracts, amendments, privacy-related agreements, and company policies.

● Act as a trusted legal partner to Sales, Finance, People, GTM, etc., teams to accelerate deal cycles.

● Build and maintain templates, playbooks, and efficient legal processes to reduce friction and support scale.

● Provide legal support on corporate governance, employment matters, and option grants.

● Advise on financing rounds and investor-related matters.

● Oversee compliance with data privacy frameworks (HIPAA) and healthcare-related regulations.

● Develop and implement company policies and procedures to manage legal risks.

● Engage and manage external counsel in multiple jurisdictions, with a primary focus on Israel, the U.S., and Canada.

● Champion compliance, privacy, and risk management best practices across the company.

● Support IP strategy and protection of the company's innovations.

Requirements

  • LL.B. or equivalent legal degree.
  • Licensed to practice in Israel.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven in-house experience as legal counsel in a global, fast-growing B2B2C startup.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with the U.S. legal framework, with the ability to manage cross-border legal matters

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with or knowledge of privacy and healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g. HIPAA).
  • A degree in Economics/Finance/MBA
  • Experience supporting fundraising activities and managing legal aspects of due diligence processes.
