Join our dynamic sales team in Barcelona as a Sales Development Representative to drive Qonto's growth in the Spanish market by identifying, qualifying, and converting potential customers into business opportunities. Under the mentorship of Alberto Toboso, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our customer base while developing your sales expertise in a fast-growing fintech environment.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Sales Development Representative at Qonto, you will:
• Identify and qualify potential customers through various prospecting activities, building a strong pipeline of business opportunities
• Conduct outbound sales activities including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling to engage prospects and generate interest
• Execute sales conversations with potential customers, presenting Qonto's value proposition and qualifying their business needs
• Manage and maintain accurate pipeline data in our CRM system, ensuring proper tracking of all sales activities and opportunities
• Collaborate closely with the sales team and other departments to optimize conversion rates and support business growth objectives
🤔 What you can expect:
• Market/Team Context: You'll join a growing sales team in Barcelona focused on expanding Qonto's presence in the Spanish market, working in a fast-paced fintech environment with significant growth potential
• How we work: You'll follow proven sales methodologies while developing your own prospecting strategies, with regular coaching and support from your manager and team
• Growth opportunities: The team is growing and offers long-term contract opportunities for high performers
• Work setup: You'll be based in our Barcelona office with 1 day remote work per week, allowing for both collaboration and flexibility
🤝 About your future manager
• Their path: Alberto joined Qonto in 2023 and rapidly progressed from Account Executive to Sales Lead for Regate by Qonto in Spain. He previously led Agicap's Spanish market launch, working directly with the co-founder on customer acquisition strategies.
• What they bring to the team: Alberto's journey from SDR to Sales Lead gives him deep understanding of the sales process and career progression. His experience in market launches and team management makes him an ideal mentor for developing your sales skills in a fintech environment.

• Education: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Spanish university and are ready to start your sales career with enthusiasm and determination
• Language: You are a native Spanish speaker with strong communication skills, essential for connecting with our Spanish market prospects
• Mindset: You have a positive attitude, high energy, and pugnacity - you're not afraid of challenges and welcome learning opportunity
• Analytical skills: You're comfortable with numbers and data analysis, able to track your performance and identify areas for improvement
• Work ethic: You're not reluctant to handle reporting and administrative tasks, understanding they're essential for sales success
