The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and highly driven individual to join Postman’s Revenue Operations team as a Salesforce Developer. This role reports directly to the Salesforce Platform Manager. As a key part of the Revenue Operations team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the success of our Sales and Customer Success organizations by enhancing revenue growth, driving renewals, and boosting overall team efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the organization—including Sales, Customer Success, Solutions, Product, Marketing and Legal—to gather and understand business requirements for processes that need to be implemented in our Salesforce instance.
  • Help in overseeing the overall Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
  • Assist in Looker and Salesforce integration to ensure that Salesforce has a holistic view of customer interactions.
  • Integration via APIs/Web Services with other systems we use for customer interaction — including Gong, Zoomingo, and Postman Flows.
  • Design and develop robust and scalable Salesforce Flows by applying a strong understanding of flow design principles to streamline and automate critical business processes.
  • Unit / Regression testing and release management of modifications / updates between environment instances using Force.com IDMigration and bulk actions data using different tools such as Data Loader, Salesforce Inspector, etc. or other automated solution.
  • Ability to validate requirements and provide feedback and suggestions based on understanding of existing development and business processes.
  • Constantly reviewing current processes and configurations and suggesting improvements to continuously achieve sustainability.
  • Maintain technical design documentation based on functional and stakeholders’ requirements.
  • Aid in curation and scalability of all supporting process and policy documentation with relation to all business processes within the Postman Salesforce org.
  • Maintenance, troubleshooting, and delivery of break / fix solutions for applications
  • Maintenance of data and mitigation of data issues.

About You

  • 2-3 combined years of experience in one or more of the following application development tools/frameworks Force.com/Visualforce/Apex/SOQL/SOSL.
  • Experience with Lightning Components.
  • Salesforce App Builder Certification.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud.
  • Experience in an agile based environment.
  • Experience with unit/regression testing and release management of modifications/updates between environment instances using SFDX or other automated solutions.
  • Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which involves requirement gathering, requirement analysis, design, development, implementation & enhancement of projects in Salesforce.
  • Application development experience using Salesforce technologies (Apex, VisualForce, Lightning, profile, pages, roles, layouts, automation, etc.)
  • Proficiency in managing user roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Strong background in data analysis, including experience with Looker.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce flow automation.
  • Experience with data management tools and ensuring data integrity.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integration capabilities and working with third-party applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to execute with minimal guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Proficient in Salesforce data migration using different data tools.
  • Proactive approach and strong communication skills (including written, presentation, and verbal)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Advanced Administrator Certification
  • Salesforce Platform Developer 2 Certification
  • Two years of experience using Agile methodologies
