We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Product Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market success for our exposure assessment and penetration testing platform. In this high-impact startup role, you will own positioning, messaging, launches, and revenue enablement — ensuring our product resonates with CISOs, security leaders, and offensive security teams.
You will translate complex cybersecurity workflows into compelling value narratives, lead product launches, support sales, and drive demand through content, campaigns, and webinars. This role requires equal parts strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear, differentiated product positioning and messaging aligned to security buyer pain points.
- Conduct market, buyer, and competitive research to inform strategy and GTM execution.
- Own and lead product launches, including cross-functional coordination across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Build and maintain sales enablement materials (battlecards, pitch decks, one-pagers, etc.).
- Partner with Product on pricing, packaging, and market validation initiatives.
- Plan and execute webinars (thought leadership, product demos, release launches), including messaging, promotion alignment, and follow-up enablement.
- Drive content strategy and execution for your product line — including datasheets, solution briefs, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and technical content in collaboration with SMEs.
- Collaborate with demand generation to integrate product messaging into campaigns, paid programs, events, and digital channels.
- Support analyst briefings, industry events, and customer presentations as a product subject matter expert.
- Monitor adoption, win/loss data, usage trends, and campaign performance; refine messaging based on data and customer feedback.
- Understand and document the customer journey and influence internal strategy based on buyer insights.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS; cybersecurity experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling value propositions for both technical and executive audiences.
- Demonstrated success leading go-to-market launches in fast-paced environments.
- Experience planning and hosting webinars and driving content execution across multiple formats.
- Strong sales enablement background with measurable revenue impact.
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking performance metrics and ROI.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable operating in a startup environment — strategic thinker who also executes.

The typical pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD [$130,000.000] to [$170,000.00] per year. PlexTrac utilizes different base pay ranges for different work localities, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently based on their home market. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the specific applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s work location. In addition to a candidate’s work location, an individual’s base pay will also depend on a number of factors, such as complexity and responsibility of the posted role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
