PlexTrac is seeking a data-driven and highly technical Digital Marketing professional to elevate our digital presence and fuel the pipeline with high-quality inbound leads. As Head of Digital Marketing, this role will own the strategy and execution of our digital campaigns across paid media (LinkedIn, X, Gen AI, Google Ads, Bing, Reddit), SEO, and online cybersecurity communities.You’ll craft and execute high-impact campaigns, optimize performance, and scale brand.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute our digital marketing strategy across channels (SEO, SEM, pentester and cybersecurity community sites and social media)
- Manage PPC campaigns across LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Reddit. Monitor budgets, bids, targeting, and performance
- SEO & Gen AI: Drive organic growth through on-page/off-page SEO, keyword research, technical audits, backlink building and content recommendations
- Manage and grow PlexTrac’s presence on cybersecurity forums, product review sites (Reddit threads, niche groups, etc.)
- Analyze campaign metrics (clicks, CTR, CPC, ROI); optimize budgets and targeting. Present weekly/quarterly performance reports and actionable insights
- Conduct A/B and multivariate tests to refine ad copy, landing pages, and targeting strategies. Identify emerging channels and trends
- Work cross-functionally with content, design and product marketing to align campaigns with business objectives and creative assets
- Drive qualified leads through targeted campaigns tailored to cybersecurity stakeholders
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands on digital marketing experience, ideally in B2B cybersecurity or an agency working with security/technology clients
- Demonstrated success driving high-volume, high-quality leads through paid and organic digital campaigns
- Deep understanding of technical buyer personas (CISOs, IT security, pentesters/hackers) and how to market to them
- Expertise with tools like Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, HubSpot, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Reddit Metrics, Google Analytics (GA4) and more
- Strong grasp of SEO and Gen AI best practices, including technical SEO, content optimization, and backlink strategy
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation, continuous improvement, and clear KPIs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with product marketing, design and content teams in a fast-paced SaaS environment

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD [$140,000.00] to [$200,000.00] per year. PlexTrac utilizes different base pay ranges for different work localities, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently based on their home market. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the specific applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s work location. In addition to a candidate’s work location, an individual’s base pay will also depend on a number of factors, such as complexity and responsibility of the posted role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. At PlexTrac, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and equity options. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
