Role Overview
The Opportunity
PDI Technologies is seeking a General Manager, Security & Network to lead and scale a strategic $100M+ business delivering cybersecurity and networking solutions to distributed retail and petroleum enterprises.
The GM will be accountable for full P&L performance and responsible for delivering the complete value proposition across customers, employees, and investors. This leader will drive strategy, top-line growth, margin expansion, operational excellence, and inorganic growth while strengthening PDI’s competitive position in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a multi-year growth strategy aligned to market dynamics and competitive positioning, including product packaging, tiered offerings, and expansion of recurring revenue streams
- Own full P&L performance, delivering revenue growth, margin expansion, forecast accuracy, disciplined capital management, and cost optimization
- Drive new revenue levers across managed services, hardware, pricing optimization, and solution expansion while partnering closely with Sales and Marketing to accelerate bookings and increase attach rates
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Sales, Delivery, Support, and Finance to establish shared KPIs and scalable operating models
- Improve operational efficiency across service lines (SOC/NOC, MDR/EDR, managed network services) while maintaining high service quality
- Influence and lead within a matrixed organization, building scalable processes that support sustainable growth
- Identify, sponsor, and execute M&A and partnership opportunities, including diligence, integration planning, and successful post-close execution
- Serve as a visible market-facing leader with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Build, develop, and hold accountable high-performing leadership teams with strong organizational design and employee engagement
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven P&L ownership of $100M+ in cybersecurity, networking, MSP/MSSP, or related technology services
- Deep expertise in managed security services, zero-trust architectures, and distributed enterprise networks
- Demonstrated success defining pricing, packaging, and margin strategy
- Track record of leading 3+ successful M&A integrations
- Strong financial rigor and sales partnership experience
- Experience in private equity-backed environments preferred
- Background in convenience retail, petroleum, or franchise ecosystems a plus
- This is a highly visible executive role central to accelerating growth, expanding recurring revenue, and driving operational discipline within PDI’s Security & Network portfolio.
