Mission
Outbuild is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to bridge our product and our customers, translating what we build into compelling stories that resonate with construction field teams. Reporting to the VP of Product, you'll become a deep expert on both our platform and the project teams who rely on it daily.
This role sits at the intersection of product and go-to-market. You'll partner closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to bring new features to market, create content that showcases how our product solves real on the jobsite problems, and represent Outbuild as a product expert at online and at industry events.

Outbuild is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to bridge our product and our customers, translating what we build into compelling stories that resonate with construction field teams. Responsibilities
- Become a product expert who deeply understands Outbuild's platform, our customers' workflows, and the problems we solve
- Create and present product demos for video content across social media, webinars, sales enablement, and marketing campaigns
- Produce video content, including feature walkthroughs, customer stories, and product tutorials that showcase real-world value
- Develop product messaging, positioning, and launch materials that translate features into customer benefits
- Participate in industry conferences and events, demonstrating the product and engaging with customers and prospects
- Build relationships with customers to understand their challenges, surface compelling use cases, and gather feedback for Product
- Create case studies, blog posts, and sales collateral that demonstrate how Outbuild improves outcomes on construction projects
- Work with Sales to develop product narratives, competitive positioning, and enablement materials
- Track customer insights and market signals, feeding what you learn back into product strategy and messaging
- 5+ years in product marketing at a B2B SaaS or construction tech company, with deep product knowledge and customer understanding
- Proven ability to create engaging product demos and explain technical features, both written and verbal
- Strong product intuition and willingness to become a true product expert who understands the platform inside and out
- Customer-obsessed mindset with experience gathering insights from users and translating them into actionable positioning
- Comfort on camera and on stage, able to demo and be the face of the product confidently and authentically
- Strong writer across formats: case studies, blog posts, feature announcements, social content
- Ability to synthesize both qualitative customer feedback and quantitative data to inform strategy
- Collaborative approach with experience working closely across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Scrappy execution mindset comfortable moving fast and figuring things out in a startup environment
- Background in construction or construction technology strongly preferred
- Experience in marketing products used by frontline workers or field teams
- Time at an early-stage startup (Series A through C) where you wore multiple hats
- Knowledge of construction scheduling, planning workflows, or Lean Construction principles
- Understanding of how field teams operate and what drives their software adoption
- Experience with video production and editing tools

CONTRACT STRUCTURE
- This role is open to Canada-based independent contractors only
- Candidates must be legally authorized to operate as independent contractors in Canada
- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and statutory obligations
- Engagement terms, scope, and payment structure will be outlined in a written contractor agreement
