We’re looking for a Solutions Consultant - Data & AI Governancebased in San Francisco, CA to serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers. This role sits at the intersection of Sales Engineering, AI governance, privacy, and security, helping organizations design and implement scalable governance architectures that support innovation while meeting regulatory and risk requirements.
Your Mission
- Serve as a technical authority in enterprise sales cycles, leading architecture discussions across AI governance, data governance, privacy, and security
- Partner with Account Executives and Sales Engineers to support customer meetings, executive presentations, and technical deep dives
- Lead discovery sessions to uncover governance maturity gaps, organizational friction, and business drivers tied to trust and risk
- Design end-to-end governance solutions that balance technical feasibility, regulatory defensibility, and operational adoption
- Architect and demonstrate integrations across APIs, microservices, and cloud-native environments
- Build and deliver proofs-of-concept (POCs) to showcase how OneTrust integrates into complex AI and data ecosystems
- Translate regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.) into practical technical workflows and controls
Your Experience Includes
:- 6–12+ years in Solutions Engineering, Technical Sales, or Technical Consulting roles
- Strong background in GRC, privacy, security, or compliance
- Experience advising enterprise customers on governance strategy and operating models
- Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud-native systems, and distributed environments
- Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of data governance and/or AI governance concepts, including:
- Data classification and metadata management
- Policy enforcement and risk-based governance
- AI lifecycle governance and safeguards
- Ability to translate complex governance concepts into clear, business-aligned solutions

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
Salary Range
