Position Description
Under the supervision of the Product Team Lead, the intern will join the product team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our SaaS platform and data collection features. Working at the crossroads of product and technology, the intern will contribute to QA processes for scraping pipelines and the broader Nfinite platform, while exploring AI-powered solutions to elevate our quality assurance practices. The role requires fluency in both French and English, even if the core team is French, based on Bordeaux. Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute test cases for scraping features targeting e-commerce merchant websites
- Perform functional QA on the Nfinite SaaS platform: regression testing, exploratory testing, and bug reporting
- Analyse and document anomalies observed in scraped data (missing fields, format inconsistencies, anti-bot disruptions, evolving site structures)
- Collaborate closely with the development and product teams to reproduce, triage, and follow up on identified issues
- Contribute to the definition and improvement of QA standards, checklists, and documentation
- Explore and experiment with AI-based solutions (LLMs, test automation tools) to support and augment QA workflows
- Participate in product team meetings and contribute to sprint reviews and retrospectives
Candidate Profile
- Student in computer science, product management, digital technology, or equivalent, at Bachelor's or Master's level (2nd to 5th year)
- Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken) — this is a mandatory requirement for the role
- Genuine interest in product quality, user experience, and data reliability
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly
- Basic understanding of how web applications work (HTTP, HTML structure, APIs) is a plus
- Curiosity about AI tooling and emerging QA automation solutions is highly appreciated
- Previous exposure to QA processes, bug tracking tools (Jira, Linear, etc.) or test management is a bonus but not required
Tools & Environment
- Product & project management: Notion and Jira
- QA & testing: exploratory testing practices, test case writing, bug reporting
- Data: basic understanding of JSON / structured data formats
- AI tooling: LLM-based test assistants, prompt engineering (no prior expertise required)
Internship Conditions
- Monthly compensation in accordance with applicable regulations
- Supervision provided by a dedicated Product Team Lead
- An internship agreement issued by the candidate's educational institution is mandatory
