The Associate Business Development Representative is accountable for generating pipeline and supporting regional sales goals through outbound prospecting of assigned market segment. This role is responsible for engaging prospective customers through multiple channels, scheduling qualified meetings, and maintaining accurate records. Success in this role is measured by activity levels, pipeline contribution, and adherence to SLAs and data integrity standards.


Essential Functions:

  • Execute outbound prospecting activities including cold calls, emails, social media outreach, and participation in trade shows and business events.
  • Schedule product demos, discovery meetings, and qualified meetings with prospects and customers.
  • Conduct initial outreach and discovery calls using provided frameworks to identify prospect needs and qualification criteria.
  • Perform online research to understand market trends, account structures, key decision-makers, and strategic initiatives.
  • Create personalized messaging for various personas within target financial institutions using Salesloft cadences.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contacts, accounts, and business development activities in Salesforce.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities to support regional sales goals.
  • Support senior team members with account research, pipeline generation, and competitive intelligence gathering.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the nCino Platform, its features, and the broader financial services industry.
  • Accountable for meeting activity and pipeline targets, maintain SLAs, conversion rates of qualified opportunities data integrity and output of qualified meetings

Minimum Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Proven initiative-taker with strong organizational skills

Preferred:

  • Basic understanding of financial services industry terminology
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (SalesForce preferred)
  • Experience with communication tools such as Salesloft, ZoomInfo or Linkedin sales Navigator

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The base salary range for this job is:

$19.00 - $29.40
