The Senior Creative Designer is highly skilled and contributes to strategy through leading major design initiatives and elevate our brand through compelling visual storytelling. This role is ideal for a creative professional with a strong design portfolio, a passion for innovation, and the ability to translate business strategy into impactful design solutions.

Essential Functions:

• Lead comprehensive medium to large-scale projects by translating complex business objectives into compelling brand experiences that resonate with target audiences and strengthen market differentiation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams including marketing, product, and sales to ensure digital brand storytelling aligns with broader brand positioning and business growth strategies across all market segments.
• Establish and refine design processes, systems, and methodologies that improve team efficiency, creative quality, and brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints and customer experiences.
• Provide mentorship and professional development guidance to junior and mid-level designers through feedback and knowledge transfers.
• Present creative concepts to senior stakeholders and executive leadership, articulating design rationale and incorporating high-level feedback while maintaining creative vision and brand integrity.
• Drive innovation in visual communication by researching emerging design trends, technologies, and methodologies that enhance nCino's competitive positioning and creative excellence.
• Lead digital brand system evolution by establishing scalable visual standards, brand component libraries, and design guidelines that support organizational growth and maintain consistency across global digital markets.
• Analyze design performance metrics and user feedback to optimize visual communication effectiveness and demonstrate design impact on business outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Represent the design function in planning initiatives and contribute creative and functional expertise to business decision-making processes that affect brand positioning and market presence.
• Oversee third-party vendor relationships by reviewing agency deliverables and ensuring all creative work meets established brand standards, project specifications, and quality benchmarks while maintaining strategic alignment with business objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree and 5+ years professional related experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma or Sketch.
• Familiarity with creative AI generative content.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual storytelling and brand design across digital and print.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience leading projects.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in B2B or SaaS environment

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The base salary range for this job is:

$72,300.00 - $119,300.00
