Associate Manager - Sales Operations

Essential Functions:
Manage and develop a team of deal desk analysts while serving as a player coach in complex deal modeling
Model and approve complex deal structure modeling, including custom pricing arrangements ensuring compliance
Serve as subject matter expert on Salesforce licensing models and partner channel structures
Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Accounting on non-standard deal approvals
Coach team on advanced deal modeling techniques and complex Salesforce/partner licensing scenarios
Drive automation initiatives for routine deal processes and implement workflow improvements
Manage delegation of authority matrix and ensure proper escalation of deal exceptions
Partner with Sales leadership on strategic deal consultation and revenue optimization
Manage deal desk ticketing system and maintain service level agreements for response times
Minimum Requirements:
Undergraduate degree, 6+ years of related professional experience and 1+ years of management experience
Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel with advanced modeling capabilities
Knowledge of SaaS business models and revenue recognition principles
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Customer service orientation with internal and external stakeholders
Preferred:
Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
Experience with Salesforce and reporting capabilities
Deal desk or sales operations experience
Background in process improvement and automation initiatives

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The base salary range for this job is:
