The validations team is a central function within the company, as such you will work alongside the onboarding, account management and support teams. Under the direction of the Validations Team Lead, your job will be to review & analyze customer documentation accurately and timely. As a Validations Reviewer you will be expected to review the accuracy of the data captured by the validations team of customer’s documentation that are submitted by various financial institutions. In the event that errors are identified, the Validations reviewer is expected to update, correct and report all errors identified. This includes following and interpreting chronological steps, completing qualitative checks, capturing document information, and comparing the final set of information.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Accurately capture and compare (validate) customers’ documentation submitted by various financial institutions by capturing document information and following chronological steps
  • Review qualitative checks performed by the validations team for a variety of detailed documents to ensure their data fields are filled, accurate and compliant Correcting captured data from document information
  • Reporting on all errors identified through the review process
  • Advise and support team members on maintaining detailed and accurate documents and documentation
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Communicate with management to seek guidance, support and escalations
  • Process and validate the accuracy of various detailed documents to support the success of daily operations
  • Produce and maintain standardized, accurate, and effective process documentation
  • Train and mentor junior staff on validation practices, documentation standards, and quality
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in process validation and documentation
  • Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance
  • May perform role of Validator as needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Secondary school diploma, 6+ years of data, administrative, finance, or compliance industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior experience in a Validations role
  • Excellent English literacy
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and computer proficiency
  • Ability to independently interpret document types and function within a team Customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Gather and organize information while meeting commitments on time
  • Perform well-defined tasks
  • Effective time management skills
