As financial institutions (FIs) strive to stay ahead in the digital revolution through technological investments, AI and analytics are at the forefront, turning the tide in the financial industry with notable efficiency gains and competitive differentiation. These technologies are reshaping the industry by offering significant performance uplifts, managing risk, boosting efficiency, personalizing services, and cutting costs.

This is where you come in. You will contribute to the product marketing of industry-leading solutions to the global banking industry, with a specific emphasis on Consumer Banking and Analytics. You will work closely with our marketing, sales, and product development teams, and be responsible for leading a team of product marketers.

The ideal candidate has experience in Product Marketing for a B2B SaaS company in financial services and is eager to transform financial services using AI and analytics, while growing their marketing career at a fast-paced, public technology company.


Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the nCino’s comprehensive solutions to become knowledgeable about product-market fit, overall differentiation, and the application of AI and analytics.

  • Support nCino's annual revenue goals while contributing to Product Marketing's KPIs related to Consumer Solution adoption and utilization.

  • Channel the voice of the customer by understanding the pain points and aspirations of various banking segments and roles, translating these into actionable content and output that drives revenue generation.

  • Research and analyze market opportunities for Consumer Solution expansion in the global financial services industry.

  • Collaborate with Product Management to support the multi-year roadmap for nCino's Consumer Solution, integrating analytics and AI.

  • Lead go-to-market efforts for nCino sales, marketing, and product development teams.

  • Support the development of messaging frameworks for solution themes, mapping out the key topics and problems our target audience faces and the AI-driven solutions that nCino can and should provide.

  • Conduct competitive and market research to identify trends, differentiators, and opportunities in the Consumer and Analytics space for nCino.

  • Build understanding of our customers and the market by conducting primary qualitative and quantitative research and competitive analyses that inform strategic product and marketing decisions.

  • Support project planning, timelines, and communication among team members to ensure the successful execution of research initiatives.

  • Identify, maintain and update market research claims, ensuring accuracy for use in product marketing collateral.

  • Track insights and analyze key product marketing metrics for optimization and organizational value.

  • Work alongside Sales to increase conversion rates through continuous improvement of product messaging, demos, sales enablement, and competitive win/loss insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, or an equivalent combination of experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in a Marketing role, with a focus on B2B SaaS.

  • 2+ years of experience in a Product Marketing role, preferably in Financial Services.

  • Ability to motivate yourself and others, prioritize your own work, and adapt and thrive in a dynamic team environment.

  • Ability to execute qualitative and quantitative research initiatives with guidance.

  • Experience developing and coordinating impactful Marketing collateral including (but not limited to) presentation slides, brochures, feature documents, point of view documentation, FAQs, lead generation scripts, personas, target market definition, ROI models, landing pages, videos, and other relevant materials used by marketing, sales, and business development teams.

  • Ability to identify, analyze, and communicate market trends and sales opportunities, particularly in Commercial Banking.

  • Strong aptitude for distilling complex technical differentiators into simple stories that resonate with the customer base.

  • Strong project management and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work with a variety of teams, gather input, synthesize feedback, and coordinate efforts across multiple areas of business.

  • Experience conducting market and competitive analyses to inform corporate strategies and campaigns.

  • Knowledge of banking and FinTech industry trends and ability to integrate that knowledge into our product and marketing strategy.

Bonus

  • Product Marketing experience for an AI-Driven FinTech Company.

  • Prior functional experience in consumer banking.

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Science, or Research.

  • International or Global Marketing experience.

Other

  • Position requires 10 percent travel.

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The base salary range for this job is:

$110,000.00 - $187,000.00
