As a core member of the Conference and Event Team reporting to nCino's Director of Global Conferences and Events, this person will manage all operational aspects of nSight and other events as required, ensuring alignment with the company's marketing strategy. The ideal candidate should develop deep knowledge of nCino's business model and possess exceptional project management skills, conference management expertise, and a keen eye for detail. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for the logistical and operational excellence that makes nSight a premier industry event, collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure flawless execution and measurable business impact.
Essential Functions:
Lead project management for nCino's flagship conference, nSight, including timeline development, vendor coordination, logistics planning, and cross-functional team collaboration to ensure alignment with business goals, customer engagement, retention and lead generation.
Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert (SME), independently overseeing the logistical and operational aspects of nSight and other assigned events including venue sourcing, vendor management, timelines, contract negotiation and post event reporting.
Support the development and execution of nSight strategy, ensuring the conference agenda delivers engaging and valuable insights, experiences and best practices for attendees while maximizing opportunities for business growth.
Manage the end-to-end attendee journey for nSight, from pre-event communication and registration, to on-site signage and mobile app experience, to post-event follow-up.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all aspects of the conference, such as content, speakers, sponsorships, and promotions, are aligned and executed effectively.
Manage details of onsite event execution and creation of event materials consistent with nCino brand and messaging.
Proactively and effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of event objectives, deliverables are met, and content focus and format are engaging to customers and prospects.
Prepare and schedule regular touchpoints with nCino leadership and executive team, creating and delivering compelling presentations that communicate conference strategy, progress, and key decision points while ensuring all divisions remain informed and aligned throughout the planning process.
Prepare all internal attendees with accurate and timely information to ensure their on-site success and maximized engagement at events.
Partner with regional event leads with events and projects to keep their work moving forward at HQ during various time zones.
Develop on-site data collection strategy with key stakeholders to ensure maximum lead collection and demand generation for nSight.
Analyze event ROI providing post-event reports and insights, collecting feedback from attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders to assess success and provide recommendations to inform future strategies.
Manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery of all conferences and events, while adhering to financial guidelines.
Conduct research on other user conferences in the industry to benchmark nSight against leading events and identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Impact efficiency across function by staying current on industry trends to implement best practices and enhance offerings, engagement, and operational efficiencies. Proactively identify opportunities to innovate within the event space, including new event formats, digital engagement strategies, and sustainability initiatives.
May mentor junior colleagues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in event management, with proven success coordinating and executing corporate or industry events, particularly city-wide conferences with large venues and multiple hotels
Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple events and competing priorities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Superior communication and relationship-building abilities, both written and verbal.
Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
Proficiency with event management software (Cvent) and digital platforms preferred (Salesforce).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Experience with event logistics, trade shows, sponsorship coordination, venue sourcing, and managing on-site event setups.
Experience with large-scale conference planning and execution preferred.
B2B event marketing experience preferred.
Banking industry experience a plus.
Flexibility to travel as needed (up to 20%).

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The base salary range for this job is:
