Associate Tax Specialist

Responsibilities
- Assist in performing compliance duties for the company's entities with a focus on compliance and planning
- Support the preparation of the quarterly and year-end accounting for income tax (ASC 740) provision
- Research tax issues and assist in tax planning projects
- Prepare calculations of estimated tax payments
- Contribute to all tax-related audits
- Assist with internal control compliance
- Analyze and assist with the international transfer pricing strategy in place with foreign subsidiaries
- Manage various notices from tax authorities
- Prepare indirect tax filings, such as sales, VAT, property tax returns, and annual reports as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance
- 0–2 years of public/private accounting experience
- Ability to perform tax research
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in a team environment and with all levels of management
- Strong PC skills, including high proficiency in Excel
- Strong work ethic and a team player
- High degree of professionalism with the ability to handle difficult, sensitive, and confidential material
- Exceptional aptitude for accuracy and timeliness
- Flexible and dependable
Desired:
- Master’s Degree (Accounting, MBA, Finance)
- CPA certification
- Knowledge of tax compliance
- Exposure to ASC 740

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The base salary range for this job is:
