YOUR MISSION
You'll own a book of business within Mural's self serve customer base, identifying where there's room to grow and converting that potential into revenue. This means staying close to your accounts, understanding how teams are actually using Mural, and finding the right moment to deepen the relationship. Whether that's expanding a team, unlocking a new use case, or moving a customer from self-serve to a more structured partnership.
This is a hunting role. You'll be proactive, comfortable with outbound, and motivated by building pipeline from existing customers rather than waiting for inbound signals.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Identify and research potential land opportunities within our PLG customer base and new logos.
Initiate contact with prospects through email, phone calls, networking events, and other channels to establish rapport and create sales opportunities.
Understand the unique needs of each prospect and tailor our offerings to meet their specific requirements. Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights and recommendations on collaboration strategies.
Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations. Maintain regular communication to nurture leads and move them through the sales pipeline.
Manage and update prospect and client information in our system of record. Monitor the sales pipeline, track progress against targets, and prioritize activities to achieve sales quotas.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
4+ years of proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as sales development, account development, or account executive
Ownership mindset
Data driven decision maker. You’re comfortable understanding engagement signals and applying them to your prospecting plan
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work within a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach, and Linkedin Sales Navigator
Knowledge of visual collaboration software or related technologies is a plus
The base salary + variable pay for this role ranges from $158,620 - $226,600 + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
