About the Role:
Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer needs to be an expert capable of driving end-to-end quality at our contract manufacturing partners. In this role, the individual will work closely with internal/external stakeholders to understand design as well as manufacturing requirements, Lead all quality engineering activities, and develop quality programs that will enable us to build and ship high-quality products This is a high-impact role where the individual will lead all quality engineering activities among the contract manufacturer and internal teams for all things quality
What You’ll Do:
- Actively follow up well the assigned work R&R from manager to ensure all the quality activities of all the Motive NPI projects, MP projects and RMA FACA process can be comprehensively fulfilled to meet expectations
- Capable of daily basis leading/deep dive all the diverse quality tasks/activities to fully engage CM partners to ensure all products can comply with MFG quality process requirements in order to manufacture good quality products
- Onsite CM factory conduct phase build audit when assigned by manager, and come up with a comprehensive audit report, drive CM implement effective FA/CA to resolve all the issues for closure
- Capable of proactively Implement MFG quality plan/process documents/quality requirements,MFG Criteria, and independently take initiatives to drive Continuous Quality improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- 8+ years expertise in drive end-to-end MFG quality at the high-volume electronics (Consumer, Automotive, Medical devices), capable of flow down design to manufacturing requirements, expert in leading all manufacturing quality activities,strong experienced in compiling Process Control Plan, FATP SOP, PFMEA process and conduct review to get the result meeting target yield
- Capable of developing/planning/driving action items for manufacturing process readiness, possess the professional 7 QC toll hands-on skills, detail orientation, leadership, organized, and engagement
- Capable of Implement MFG quality plan/process documents/quality requirements, MFG Criteria, and independently take initiatives to drive Continuous Quality improvement Quality improvement (e.g. lessons learned, factory audits, SPC project, CPK, GR&R , Maverick Lot Control, DOE, LEAN Six Sigma)
- Expertise in IQC/IPQC, managing supplier quality, experienced develop supplier part quality control plan and specified commodities supplier quality
- 5+ years SMT process expertise, can debug SMT issues and know well kitting/Solder paste printing/SPI/Reflow/Pick&place/AOI process detail
