IT Support Specialist (m/f/d)

Join Moonfare as we continue to transform the global Private Equity investment landscape. We’re looking for a service-oriented IT Support Specialist to support our internal IT function, execute scalable processes, and drive operational excellence across our business. This is an opportunity to support our IT infrastructure, collaborate across departments and locations, and help shape the future of our technology operations.

You will:

  • Assist in maintaining Moonfare’s IT infrastructure across current and future office locations, acting as a “hands-on” specialist for technical issues.
  • Staff the internal IT Support team, acting as the primary point of contact for colleagues across multiple time zones to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Execute the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring new "Moonfarians" have their hardware, accounts, and access rights ready on Day 1.
  • Manage the physical and digital inventory of IT assets (Mac/Windows), handling procurement logistics, distribution, and repairs.
  • Administer user access and identity via our SSO and IdP solutions, ensuring strict adherence to security policies and data protection standards.
  • Support the management of our workplace tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian), troubleshooting user issues and configuring settings.
  • Create and update internal knowledge base articles and "How-to" guides to empower employees and increase self-service efficiency.
  • Manage our suite of workplace applications and tools, both internal and third party, assessing and implementing new solutions that scale with the business
  • Oversee all IT hardware assets, from procurement to distribution, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

The next Moonfarian:

  • A proven track record in an IT Support, Service Desk, or System Administrator role.
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills for macOS (primary) and Windows environments.
  • Proven track record of working in a ticket-based support environment (e.g., Jira Service Management), with a focus on SLA adherence and user satisfaction.
  • Hands-on experience using MDM solutions (Jamf Pro and Microsoft Intune) for device deployment and inventory management.
  • Competent in administering Google Workspace and supporting common startup tools (Slack, Zoom).
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence from an agent/admin perspective (managing projects, permissions, and workflows is a plus).
  • Familiarity with basic office network troubleshooting (WiFi, LAN, VPN, Video Conferencing hardware).
  • Strong understanding of security best practices (MFA, password hygiene, phishing awareness).
  • Basic ability to develop Bash/PowerShell scripts and a strong willingness to automate.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; you are able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with empathy.
