Talent Acquisition Partner (m/f/d)
Our Talent Acquisition team is at the forefront of Moonfare’s growth. As a high-impact team of three, joining our team offers significant opportunities for ownership, autonomy, and professional development. We are evolving from a reactive service to a proactive, insight-led talent advisory function. Our mission is to accelerate Moonfare’s business outcomes by building high-performing, values-aligned teams. You will be a strategic advisor to leaders across our commercial and technology functions. This is not just a recruiting role; you will own complex hiring challenges, shape recruitment strategy, and serve as a go-to expert for your stakeholders. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of roles, from software engineering and product to sales, investments, and legal.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will be trusted to navigate ambiguous requirements, self-direct your priorities, and design scalable solutions that enhance our hiring effectiveness. This role is pivotal in ensuring we hire the exceptional talent required to fuel our high-performance culture.
You Will:
- Act as a Strategic Advisor: Partner with hiring managers and leadership as a true talent consultant. You will coach them on best practices, hold them accountable for an outstanding candidate experience, and guide them to make robust, data-informed hiring decisions.
- Own End-to-End Recruitment: Define and execute bespoke recruitment strategies for roles across our technology and commercial departments. You will manage the full lifecycle, from defining requirements and sourcing to offer negotiation and closing.
- Drive Proactive Sourcing: Go beyond inbound applications to build and engage a strong pipeline of passive talent. You will leverage creative sourcing channels and market intelligence to attract the best candidates globally.
- Leverage Data and Insights: Analyse recruitment data to identify trends, diagnose systemic issues, and propose process improvements. You will use insights to inform hiring strategies, manage stakeholder expectations, and enhance our overall effectiveness.
- Champion Hiring Excellence: Contribute to strategic TA projects, such as designing and delivering company-wide interview training, refining our employer value proposition, and optimising our assessment methods to ensure we consistently raise our talent bar.
- Integrate Transformative AI: Proactively identify and implement AI tools and methodologies to automate tasks, enhance decision-making, and scale our hiring capabilities, with your success being measured against these innovations.
- Manage Complex Stakeholder Relationships: Build trust and credibility with senior leaders, navigating a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment with a persuasive and consultative communication style.
The Next Moonfarian:
- You have 3+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or finance environment.
- You have a proven track record of successfully hiring for both technical (e.g., Software Engineering, Product) and commercial (e.g., Sales, Finance, Legal) roles.
- You are a strategic partner who can consult, influence, and build strong relationships with senior hiring managers and C-level executives.
- You are data-driven, using analytics to inform your strategy, measure success, and drive continuous improvement.
- You are a proactive problem-solver, capable of self-directing your work, managing complex projects with ambiguous requirements, and handling unexpected challenges with minimal oversight.
- You demonstrate an AI-first mindset, with experience leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency and enhance outcomes in a professional environment.
- You possess a deep-seated commitment to candidate experience, ensuring every interaction is a positive reflection of the Moonfare brand.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and are adept at selling our vision and closing top-tier candidates.
This role is unlikely to be a good match if you:
- Prefer to work in silos and focus only on one domain (e.g., only tech), as this role requires a highly collaborative approach and the versatility to recruit across all business functions.
- Are resistant to adopting an AI-first mindset and prefer manual processes over exploring automation and new technologies to drive efficiency and advance our TA function.
- Are uncomfortable with calculated risk-taking and moving at speed, as we aim to innovate and push boundaries within the necessary constraints of a regulated FinTech environment.
We can only accept applications from those eligible to live and work in Berlin, Germany. We are unable to sponsor visas for this position.
This is an in-person first role with office attendance required 4 days/week.

- Onsite Case Study Interview: This is your opportunity to showcase your skills. You will be presented with a real-world challenge relevant to the role, allowing us to see your thought process and strategic approach in action. You’ll get to see our beautiful office space and meet more of the team.
- Values & Leadership Interview with VP People: A final conversation focused on our values, ensuring you will thrive in our high-performance culture.
