Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture
Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, CPQ).
Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical architectures.
Evaluate and recommend custom development approaches.
Create architecture blueprints, data models, and integration strategies.
develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility. This position may contribute by developing application code as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Serve as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders.
Lead discovery sessions, requirement workshops, and solution presentations.
Collaborate with developers, admins, and project managers to ensure alignment and delivery.
Integration & Data Strategy
Architect integrations with external systems using APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and ETL tools.
Collaborate with Data Architect to define data migration strategies and oversee execution.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Governance & Quality Assurance
Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices.
Review code and configuration for adherence to design principles.
Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and release management.
Documentation & Enablement
Document solution designs, technical specifications, and system configurations.
Provide mentorship to junior architects and developers.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and support user training.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture and solution design.
Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flow, as well as common Web Services frameworks/ protocols (SOAP, XML, JSON, REST)
Salesforce Certified Application Architect
Salesforce Certified System Architect
Experience with multi-cloud implementations and enterprise-scale projects.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and integration patterns.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
B.S. or higher in computer science/technology field preferred or equivalent industry experience
Preferred Additional Qualifications
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – highly desirable
Additional certifications (e.g., Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud) are a plus.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and regulations preferred (PCI, PII, PHI, HIPAA, GDPR, ADA, etc.)
