Job Description:

Momentive Software seeks a strong B2B marketer to join its growing Demand Marketing organization as an Email Marketing Specialist. This role will be responsible for driving demand and delivering top line growth through email marketing campaigns. The candidate will be responsible for strategy, development and execution of integrated, multi-step email marketing campaigns supporting revenue and brand goals. They will work with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration with executive management, sales and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings experience with outbound email marketing, particularly demand generation in a B2B, enterprise environment, for services or talent marketplaces.

Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, the Email Marketing Manager will create and execute effective and results-oriented integrated email marketing campaigns to build pipeline and grow the company’s business. The ideal candidate will thrive on incorporating data-driven analytics to refine and hone execution and have HubSpot experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute measurable email marketing campaigns that drive revenue through direct sales team

  • Manage business-to-business email marketing programs, including drip email nurture series leveraging marketing content, targeting specific solutions, legal practice areas and geographies

  • Collaborate with Demand Marketing to develop campaigns to build pipeline in core markets

  • Work closely with content and design teams to create landing pages for campaign CTAs

  • Work closely with Product Marketing on mapping marketing database segmentation to personas

  • Maintain marketing database segmentation to ensure any communications delivered are relevant to the audience receiving them

  • Ensure all HubSpot campaigns link to salesforce.com campaigns to ensure accurate campaign ROI tracking

  • Analyze campaign performance for continuous improvement

  • Implement A/B tests to optimize effectiveness of subject lines, headers, images, copy, and calls-to-action

  • Become an expert on the company's lead funnel for email marketing

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing programs, ideally for professional services

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce.com) and marketing automation systems (e.g., HubSpot)

  • Experience building and managing HubSpot workflows

  • Experience with creating compelling messages for email

  • Experience in list management, customer segmentation, and lifecycle/nurture campaigns

  • Knowledge of B2B email marketing best practices including deliverability, open rates, CTAs, opt-out rates, segmentation, personalization

  • Understanding of email compliance laws (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL)

  • Ability to understand how strategic objectives translate into market-specific programs

  • Demonstrated ability to implement with extreme attention to detail

  • Strong project management skills, including managing schedules and deadlines with multiple stakeholders

  • Audience development experience a plus

  • Detail-oriented, yet able to prioritize strategic impact

  • Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally

  • Curious, collaborative, and eager to iterate and improve

  • Organized, resourceful, and deadline-driven

  • A strong communicator who enjoys building partnerships across teams

  • HubSpot Email Marketing Certification or other marketing automation tool certification required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
