Job Description Summary:
Momentive Software seeks an experienced Director of Marketing Operations to optimize its processes and systems while developing a team of MOPs professionals. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, and as a member of the Marketing Leadership Team, you will be responsible for understanding and optimizing Momentive’s marketing performance through the use of analytics. Successful candidates should be analytical, comfortable thinking big and diving deep, and have a proven track record of end-to-end project ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment. You will own the company’s marketing technology footprint – from selection to implementation to governance and roadmap development. In this role, Momentive counts on you for data management, best practices syndication, and marketing skills development required to propel our organization forward.This individual serves as a close advisor to the CMO and Marketing Leadership Team, working together to optimize marketing operations in a growing organization. Analytics and data are critical drivers that power our marketing engine. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, thinks analytically, can translate business objectives into marketing goals, and enjoys deriving actionable recommendations from quantitative data. In this role, you’ll be the connective tissue between marketing strategy, technology, and performance – driving cross-functional alignment and delivering insights that lead to smarter decisions.
Job Description:
A Day in the Life
Refine, develop, and deliver marketing measurement approach to enable insight-driven decision making
Construct key marketing reporting mechanisms, including dashboards and reports
Own the marketing technology stack (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, attribution platforms, ABM tools) and identify opportunities for improvement and automation; evaluate and implement new tools to increase marketing efficiency and scalability
Partner with Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, and Finance to ensure operational alignment and strategic integration across the funnel
Assist in preparing presentations on marketing performance and contribution, including Board materials
Lead marketing technology infrastructure, including project management and implementation, governance and roadmap development; requires collaboration with marketing stakeholders, IT, sales and other functions as needed
Accountable for data integrity for marketing data, including to ensure compliance with privacy regulations; requires collaboration with marketing stakeholders, IT, sales and other functions as needed
Leader in pushing for best-in-class marketing business processes, working in conjunction with impacted marketing and sales functions, to promote use of internal and external marketing best practices
Coordinates annual marketing budgeting planning process, including managing allocation of marketing budget and tracking year-to-date actual spend to budget
Works with Marketing Leadership Team to develop training plan to ensure ongoing professional development throughout the department
Manages a team of five, including analytics, email marketing, and marketing automation specialists

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of Marketing Operations experience in a B2B tech or professional services environment
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business and/or MBA preferred

Technical/Computer Skills:
Proficiency with marketing automation required; Hubspot strongly preferred
CRM proficiency required; Salesforce experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of data visualization software required (e.g., Tableau)
ABM experience a plus (e.g., 6Sense, Demandbase)
Familiarity with the fundamentals of digital KPIs required (e.g., website performance, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, LinkedIn advertising, etc.)
