Job Description Summary:

Momentive Software (formerly Community Brands) seeks an experienced Manager for our Business Development team to mentor and develop a team of early career BDRs and SDRs, helping hone their skills in sharing Momentive’s story with prospective clients with the goal of setting up meetings for our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching and mentoring and finds fulfillment in helping others achieve their career goals in Sales, while also optimizing processes for a combination of inbound lead follow up and outbound lead generation. The ideal candidate enjoys the pursuit of new business and connecting with their team, even when providing coaching. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coach & Develop: Train and mentor BDRs to master outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and lead qualification, ensuring continuous improvement in performance and efficiency.
  • Drive Performance & Accountability: Set clear goals, track key performance metrics, and provide regular feedback to help the team exceed targets.
  • Lead Hiring & Onboarding: Recruit top talent, onboard new BDRs effectively, and foster a culture of growth and high achievement.
  • Refine Outbound Strategy: Work closely with Sales and Marketing to optimize messaging, outreach sequences, and engagement tactics to maximize conversion rates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Demand Generation, Content, and Product Marketing teams to refine outbound messaging and align efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve lead qualification processes, outreach effectiveness, and sales workflows.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately track and report on team performance, pipeline contribution, and key outbound metrics.
  • Inspire & Motivate: Foster a positive, competitive, and high-energy culture that drives success, innovation, and professional growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years of management / leadership experience, with demonstrable track record coaching and developing high-performing teams
  • ~5 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or business development, ideally in SaaS or tech, with strong experience in inbound and outbound prospecting role
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, coaching reps, and driving pipeline growth through outbound efforts
  • Experience with standard CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Salesloft, Outreach, 6sense, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills—ability to engage, influence, and motivate at all levels, including executives

WORK ENVIRONMENT & FLEXIBILITY
Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid work schedule. This role is based at our vibrant 3 Ravinia office (3 Ravinia Dr, Atlanta, GA 30346). Working onsite three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday) provides our team the opportunity to collaborate and train as a group, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
