Overview: As a VP, Corporate Controller at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the global accounting function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes across all business units.
Coordinate and lead external audits and internal financial reviews.
Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with corporate goals.
Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior accounting leadership role, preferably in a global organization.
Extensive knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic financial plans.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
